Luberto`s Pastry Shop in Revere

My husband picked up this cheesecake on 11/26/2019 for Thanksgiving the following day and two strawberry’s were covered in fuzzy mold. Very expensive choice in Bakery, shame on you!My husband took the cheesecake back and the owner was shocked and returned our money. Very elegant establishment, and we will return as we have for years.

The cakes here are good. The one I always get are the checkered cake. Most of the others are too sweet for me. I ordered a custom cake here once and everyone at my workplace loved it. The reason why I gave it 3 stars is because any time I would come, the girls there would acknowledge you are there and would wait 5 minutes until you’re standing to ask if you are ready to order. Keep in mind when I would go, it is not busy nor there is a like to order. Improving their customer service would be helpful.

The pastries are too sweet too much sugar you can not finish your piece of cake, I'm sure that they have wrong recipes😏we went this week she didn't clean the table she just took the cups and she left the table dirty!😲she served our coffee on the top of the dirty table!!really??!!!😶😑😵🤢And you will wait forever when you go to pay....until my husband ask hello can we pay so we can go home??? Hell we don't want to spend night here!!😩😡😓😤So not recommended 👎👎👎👎👎👎

Great deserts, nice, lively, neon-lit environment and familiar feeling. Prices are moderate, quality above moat similar places in Boston.

Busy, large Italian bakery with decadent cakes, nice old school cookies (sesame, anisette, etc), bread, and in store seating. One star off for sugar topped fig squares and muffins -- topping any baked good with sugar crystals is a bad trend. (That caramelized brown crust is perfect -- the sugar ruins it!)

Lubertos has been a staple in Revere since I was a kid. The owner and his family are very generous to the community and the food is amazing to boot! I recommend the double chocolate cake and the iced mocha lattes!

The bakery has good food and pastries, however the customer service wasn’t what i’d expect from a local bakery. I purchased a $20 gift card last week. The young girl at the counter didn’t appear to be knowledgeable on how to activate it and got help from another employee who was busy. She gave me the gift card and when my grandfather went to use it they said it had no value and hadn’t been activated and were unable to check for a balance. I’m sure just a mistake on the young ladies part, however now the $20 is lost and my grandparents don’t get to enjoy there treats. Unfortunate.

I like this bakery a lot, flavors are really good they taste great! But unfortunetly the customer service it's a lot to be desired they could do better on that. You order something but yet get something different at pick up.

Blueberry muffins are the best I have ever tasted! Question? Why put hard sugar on the too? That ruins it for me?

My jaw dropped when I walked in. Beautiful bakery, anything you could want plus fancy coffee accessories. I heard they had the best ricotta pie around so I got it for my friends birthday. Wow..it was amazing!! Creamy, smooth, flavorful, not overly sweet, just amazing! Brought home an eclair for my father and he said it was fantastic. Ladies behind the counter are friendly, and always very helpful and polite. I will definitely be back!!! Thank you!!

I nice Italian bakery filled with great selections of traditional italian pastries. I rate their cappuccino as one of the best i have had, am so happy i skipped desert at the restaurant and made the trip to Luberto's !

The pastry items, including the cakes, pizza, etc., are among the best I have ever had period. The prices are among the highest I have ever paid, and the service can range from below average to rude, depending on the counter-person that waits on you. I go there for the product, it's excellent, but not as often as I have in the past.

The cakes are inconsistent. If you pick one off the shelf it MIGHT be good, but when you order it in advance, they don’t taste as good/fresh. They have a freezer burned quality to them? Customer service is also lacking. The people at the counter would rather carry a conversation among themselves then help the customer. No one should walk into an establishment and feel like they are bothering the sales person.

The staff is so friendly and the pizza is very good. I love the atmosphere here.

Luberto's has been part of Broadway Revere for quite a long time. When you drive-by you look and say to yourself wow who has decorated the sidewalk with beautiful flowers pots little tables in the summer etc. etc. making everything beautiful. When you walk inside it's like walking into a little café in Italy beautiful cakes on the right amazing pastries in front of you fabulous breads and then little café tables to sit and enjoy. Definitely worth the drive to Broadway Revere.

The cakes and pastry are wonderful ! The staff at night , 12/24 8pm, could sure use some customer service guidance. Young lady behind register was great but two others complaining and cussing in front of my wife and I talking about tips. I know the holidays are busy but the snoty bad service isn't worth the time to ever go back.

Shout out to this bakery in Revere ! After running around Revere looking for a bakery willing to bake a cake for us on the day of the event, this shop didnt turn us down! My GF and I were given an envelope with our new babys gender and she quickly wanted a gender reveal THAT day (Wednesday) instead of waiting for the weekend. She wanted a cake. We could tell they were already busy for that day but did everything to get it done, AND ABSOLUTELY Nailed the cake. Will be coming back there for our baby shower cake for sure.

I have been going to Luberto's for over 20 years and am on birthday cake #10 for my daughter!Great pastry and great atmosphere! Always a hit with everyone as a last stop on a evening out with friends!

I've been coming here for over 15+ years, my favorite are the M&M cookies and tiramisu. Really good pastries, can be a bit pricey, but worth it.

Luberto's has the best pastries I've found so far on the North shore. Anytime we're having a party, there's going to be a luberto's box or two. If you're getting a cake, be very clear on the specifics. We've had a couple mistakes but they've been good about fixing. If you go at Christmas time, there will be a long wait; the whole building is full of people waiting to order.

I was very disheartened today. When entering Lubertos pastry shop there were customers not wearing face masks. I should say their chins were safe. The owner of the establishment was present and did nothing when another patron asked the gentleman to please put their masks on. They refused and were still waited on. I also noticed the workers behind the plastic partition not wearing their masks properly. They not only were putting themselves at risk they were putting me at risk. It is not asking for much to feel safe inside a store Please wear your mask 😷 shame on the owner

I have been going to Lubertos for many years. Beautiful bakery, clean, well stocked with deliciousness and very nice employees. I ordered two dozen mini pastries over the phone and I was asked to give a deposit for the order. This I understand but I chose not to give my credit card number over the phone so I had to drive over the next day to pay for my order At the counter.I gave my name and the order but it took twenty minutes for the order to be found. Twice I explained that the order was for two dozen mini pastries and that I wanted two boxes containing a dozen in each. Well..... it was quite embarrassing at my neighbor's house when they opened their box and found 10 canolis in it and my other neighbors box contained 14 mixed pastries. Totally messed up order. The people working there are very courtious but need to be taught how to do things properly.

There’s really no describing this place. The pastries are yummy and the prices are fine. But honestly the decor makes it kind of erie, the breakfast selection is limited, and the staff has no idea how to make espresso drinks.
